2018 Thank You

A message from David Kosloski

If there’s anything I’ve learned in 2018, it’s how to make a difference. Even if in your mind it’s small, it could mean the world to someone else. I took some time to reflect on how we also got to where we are today. Traveling has always been one of my passions. If you keep in touch with our podcast, I’ve been quoted multiple times explaining how travel to me is much more than a location and a photo. It’s the cultures and the people I meet; those memories are what I take back and what I cherish forever. I’ve learned so much from traveling. It’s unparalleled to anything a classroom could teach me. Peru just so happened to be one of those locations that touched my heart and allowed me to share the stories of the people I met. We then took those stories and shared them with you, and that’s why you’re here.

This last year we put food on the tables of many families. Our travelers shared some of those meals, giving back to the communities in person. They gave school supplies to over 70 children, and those same kids got a Christmas gift this year. You’ll see people post about people’s restored faith in humanity but time and time again see so much good and grace from our travelers. It’s unbelievable what we’ve accomplished because of their hearts. What started as just an idea has evolved into a passionate community built on the foundation of sustainable tourism, passion, and love. None of it was possible without our team and our travelers. So thank you, Cachi Family! Thank you so much for your support, your love, your compassion, and your belief in a new way to travel. On behalf of everyone at Cachi Life, I thank you. This video above is for you.

    Congrats for the initiative guys!!
Travel is definitely more than a location and a photo.
I also loved Peru and I’m utterly convinced that I’m visiting it again.
Cheers and keep the good work.

Thanks Pericles! Maybe we can get you back there soon. We’re hoping to do some more projects in the area in the near future!
